The Same as it Ever Was

If you’re like us, you’ve sought help in creating your resume. If so, no doubt that you’ve heard some of the following:

  • You’ve been in the work force for years, so your resume needs to be a few pages long to reflect that
  • Since you’ve been in the workforce for a few years, only share the most recent experience over the last 20 years or so. The rest is irrelevant.
  • Your resume shouldn’t be longer than 1 page. No one reads long form anymore.
  • Don’t list the dates you’ve attended any schools. These will indicate your relative age range.
